The Chesaning Community Calendar is a joint effort between the Village of Chesaning, Chesaning Union Schools, Chesaning Chamber of Commerce, Saginaw County Fair and the River Rapids District Library.  The goal of the calendar is to promote community involvement by bringing all public related items to one place making it easy and convenient for the public to see what is going on in our community.

If you have a public event that you would like to have on the community calendar, please fill out the event submission form with the details of the event.  All events submitted must have a focus on the public and take place within the Chesaning Union School District.

Chesaning Michigan:
The Village of Chesaning Michigan is located along the Shiawassee River in Saginaw County about a 35 minutes south of Saginaw and 35 minutes northwest of Flint and 45 minutes northeast of Lansing.  It is a small community that is growing with many small businesses.  There are two parks in the village with picnic areas, playgrounds, a boat launch, campground and plenty of places to fish.  Cole Park is located on the Shiawassee River near downtown and features a river rapids, a pedestrian bridge and a playground.  Showboat Park is also on the Shiawassee off Front St. and is the location for many of Chesaning's events.  There are ball diamonds for league play, camping, disc golf, pavilions and play areas in Showboat Park as well as an amphitheater.  The Howard Nixon Airport is located within the village limits and a landing strip is available for light aircrafts.  Twin Brooks Golf Course is also located close to town and open to the public.
